Muddy Buffalo is WNY’s favorite obstacle course race — a wild adventure through the trails and terrain of Buffalo Ski Center in Colden, NY. Don’t worry JOE BOW is still heavily involved still-YAY!!

Now proudly owned and operated by Buffalo Ski Center, the tradition continues. Expect mud pits, rope climbs, cargo nets, walls, and more — all set against the backdrop of a real ski mountain.

Food, drinks, your crew cheering you on, and a finisher medal around your neck. That’s the Muddy Buffalo experience.

The Course
Pick Your Course
Located at beautiful Buffalo Ski Center, in Colden, NY. Pick your course. 5 miles up and down the ski hill, through mud, and over obstacles, or an easier 3 mile jog along the bottom. And bring your kids, because we have a course for them too.
Common Questions
FAQ
Do I need to be in great shape?
Not at all! Muddy Buffalo welcomes all fitness levels. You can run, jog, or walk — the goal is to have fun and finish.
Can I register as a team?
Absolutely! When your captain registers they create the team. Everyone else joins during their own registration — just make sure you all pick the same wave time.
What should I wear?
Wear clothes you don’t mind destroying. Athletic wear with trail shoes that have grip. Avoid cotton — it gets heavy when wet.
Is there gear check?

No! There are pleny of cubbies to store your “gear” in. You can always use your vehicle as parking is close the the start and finish. We are not responsible for lost or stole property. 

What is the refund policy?

Refunds are not available for this race event.
